Kingsbarns Beach (6 miles) - a blue flag beach with interesting rock pools
Elie Beach (5 miles) - a wide flat beach where cricket is played (and an excellent pub, The Ship))
St Andrews (10 miles) - East and West Sands (Chariots of Fire), good for kite flying
Anstruther Beach - close to the golf course, good to explore at low tide

The Fife Coastal path, a favourite with walkers, runs the length of the East Neuk, from the Forth Estuary in the south to the Tay Estuary in the north. It is clearly waymarked and offers a range of walking experiences from the easy and level to the wild and demanding, passing through the small fishing villages of the East Neuk, rugged cliffs, award winning beaches, wildlife reserves and St Andrews.
